About us

Our mission

We’re a young Australian company with two true passions: a love of outdoor cooking and elegant, highly functional design. Born in a country synonymous with barbecuing, we’d like everybody to be able to experience the joys of relaxed days cooking outdoors for friends and family. Yet we recognise that outdoor living space for many – particularly city dwellers – is increasingly modest. And also that for some barbecues and grills are unsightly and obstructive. Or needlessly occupy valuable space. That’s why we set out to create the best compact, BBQ grill for outdoor cooking lovers.

Typically those trying to develop a space efficient barbecue or grill have simply made them smaller. SpaceGrill has tread a completely different path, opting for a far more innovative solution.

SpaceGrill’s unique patented wall-mounted design allows it to quickly fold down when not in use – both our 2 and 3-burner models protruding a mere 20cm from where mounted – but easily pulls out when needed for cooking. Now that’s why we say “Welcome to a new Space Age” (and “Space to Grill in less than 10 seconds”).

Space Grill is a brilliant product!

Space Grill is a brilliant product! It fits really neatly into the outdoor space behind our ‘yarden’ at the rear of our medieval house right in the middle of the historic City of Chester. We first saw one at the Chelsea Flower Show a few years ago and then my wife Vanessa spotted another on Nantucket Island last summer.

This is the best purchase ever. Space saver and looks neat with clean lines. The service for this bbq was exceptional. The best BBQ I’ve ever owned

I came across the Space Grill whilst watching an ad and was instantly hooked on the concept. Christmas was around the corner and before I knew it it was on my wall. Can’t stop raving about it and it’s by far the best BBQ I’ve ever owned, and I’m quite picky when it comes to BBQ’s. We recently mounted it with a pizza oven and was cooking pizza in under 5 min.

The cover and folding action are great

Grill came well packaged and included all the necessary fixings to secure the mounting plate to our wall – set your height and make sure the plate is level. Installation was quick and easy, make sure you remove the hot plate and grill before lifting the burner onto the wall plate to make it easier to lift. The cover and folding action are great and above all, it cooks really well!

Great product, great customer service

I’ve received my space grill BBQ within a couple of days of ordering. Fantastic customer service from James, and prompt delivery. The BBQ is a real space-saver, and takes up around 75% less space than our old one, so very happy with the product. Would highly recommend!

Looks the bees knees of BBQ’s

Looks the bees knees of BBQ’s, a slight problem with the fact it doesn’t come with any fixing bolts like it states, but really not a problem. Service from buying to arrival was super quick and telephone sales was good as well.
Mounting the BBQ onto the wall with the plans is very good and you really don’t need to have it set at that height just as long as you have clearance for the back plate it will be fine.

Cooks great and is very easy to clean

I first saw the Space Grill BBQ on Foxtel and it immediately got my attention. When I called them up it was very comforting speaking to the inventor and owner of the business as he answered all my questions and explained the product perfectly. I couldn’t image using any other BBQ as we are limited with space. It cooks great and is very easy to clean. The cooking area is much bigger then it looks on TV. Highly recommend a Space Grill to anyone looking for a BBQ.

With the depth of our new balcony being limited to 1.5m, we knew space would always be at a premium for us.When we saw the Space Grill at the Sydney Home Show in mid-2016, we immediately fell in love with the idea of a foldaway BBQ. The WOW Factor!

We can enjoy BBQ’s this summer

Grill arrived beautifully packaged on pallet a few days after placing order.

Have the Space Grill currently set up on a brick stand until the patio area has been completed. This way we can enjoy BBQ’s this summer.

It will then be mounted on a wall as designed, and fold away as space will then be limited.
