We recommend cleaning the ceramic coated reversible hotplates before using the first time and then after each use. Let the hotplates cool down before cleaning in a dishwasher or by hand using a soft cloth or sponge and mild soapy warm water.
Do not use any harsh, abrasive cleaners to clean the ceramic coated hotplate. To remove stubborn cooking residue we recommend using a paste consisting of baking soda and water.
Also avoid using sharp or metallic objects for preparing or cooking food on the hotplate.
